Tredegar House is one of the architectural wonders of Wales and
one the most significant late 17th century houses in the whole of
the British Isles. For over 500 years, until they left in
1951, it was home to one of the greatest Welsh families, the
Morgans, who were later Lords of Tredegar. The house stands
within a 90 acre Country Park. There is an extensive area of
beautifully tended parkland with a large lake, an oak avenue and
the formally laid out Orangery and Cedar gardens.
