We are a small, family-run plant nursery nestled in woodland on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. We mainly specialise in hardy plants which will cope with our hilltop conditions and we have a wide range of herbaceous perennials, grasses, shrubs, climbers, trees and hardy annuals. 

Many of our plants are propagated onsite, with new varieties being added regularly as we love plants and can’t resist finding varieties we haven’t grown before. You will find lots of old favourites, along with many more unusual plants too. Display beds are open for the public to wander around for inspiration, to see what the plants will look like when growing in situ and to just sit and relax and the nursery pest control chickens may follow you around.

The compost we use is peat-free and we strive to have as low an impact on the environment as possible including by following organic principles and sterilising and reusing pots. 

We are open to the public Tuesday to Saturday every week and we can bring orders to plant fairs, just get in touch. We don't offer a mail order service."
